FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

Almost anything can be sculpted from ice. However, it’s important to consider that the sculpture must be transportable to the event, able to support its own weight, and will gradually shrink in size during the event

We carve our ice sculptures from premium clear ice blocks. Moulded sculptures are less clear and sharp. We keep our studio cold to preserve the ice quality. We shape and carve we carve with various tools.

The duration of making a high-quality ice sculpture differs greatly based on the design’s intricacy, size and type. It usually takes between three and twelve hours to complete one.

The delivery time should be planned around one to one and a half hours prior to the expected arrival of the customers or guests.

The weight of a one-block ice sculpture can vary from 80 to 120 kg. A two-block ice sculpture typically weighs between 160 and 240 kg. The design affects the weight as well.

An ice sculpture usually stays intact for 6 – 8 hours indoors. Outside, it will melt faster, around 4 hours, depending on the sun and wind exposure.

Colouring your logo will make it more striking. You can also print a coloured design like a logo on acetate and freeze it into the ice. Another option is to use coloured lights that make the ice sculpture look amazing. We don’t like to colour the ice itself; it blocks the light and loses its sparkling, crystal effect and can stain fabrics, carpets, etc…

We prefer at least 3 weeks of notice. If your event is in less than 3 weeks, please get in touch with us and we will try our best to accommodate you.

The sculpture becomes more fragile as it melts. We give you drip trays and drain hoses when we install the sculpture. We suggest you have a bucket or a container to collect the water from the hose of the drip tray.
